Seaway Valley Community Health Centre is seeking new members to join the Board of Directors
Seaway Valley Community Health Centre (SVCHC) is a charitable, not-for-profit, community-led organization created to provide primary health care, health promotion and community development services to Cornwall and area residents. SVCHC supports the health and wellbeing of local people and our community, working through team and partnership approach. The Centre is committed to equity and values lived experience.
The role of the Board includes:
• Governance and organization oversight
• Strategic planning
• Policy setting
• Overall fiduciary accountability
The Board meets monthly from September to June. Applicants should be prepared to make a commitment for a one or two-year term and may be re-elected up to a maximum of six consecutive years.
Ideal candidates will have the knowledge, skill and experience that will enable them to contribute to the SVCHC and reflect the diversity of the community we serve.
